After being held out of practice for the past couple of weeks due to an injury to his knee, starting tight end Charles Clay finally returned to training camp today.
For a while fans were left in the dark about just how severe Clay's injury was and whether or not he would be ready for the season opener against the New England Patriots, but Clay's return to practice suggests that he will be ready to go, and he confirmed that he would be, "no doubt."
Clay will be an integral part of the offense as he's able to create mismatches against the defense, and he will no doubt be a big factor in the season opener against New England.
