After spending weeks going up against each other, the Miami Dolphins are extremely excited and are looking forward to going up against a different team which will give them different looks. Jimmy Wilson is no exception to that line of thinking.
"We're tired of running against each other," said Wilson. "That's the thing around camp, after two weeks you're ready to hit somebody else."
It makes sense that the defense is tired of going up against their own teammates, they wanna gauge how they're going to perform against other teams that have different philosophies and play styles. But it's also an opportunity for the younger players to show what they've got.
"We're gonna have a chance to show our young guys, to see what they can do on Friday, and hopefully they go out there and they ball out and they win."
Like Wilson, the entire team and also the fans are hoping that he's right about the team's young players who are making an attempt to prove themselves worthy of a roster spot, and this will be their first chance to show how they compare to other teams' young players. Hopefully they all succeed, and Wilson will get his wish to hit someone not covered in aqua and orange.
