It would appear that there are still some teams out there who don't mind having players with a tough guy attitude. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are working out former Dolphins Pro Bowl guard Richie Incognito. Reports are that if all goes well, Incognito could be signed immediately, but that won't help the Buccaneers right away.

As everyone is all too aware, Incognito is considered by many to be the face of bullying thanks to the Jonathan Martin scandal that kept the Dolphins in the limelight for all the wrong reasons, and if Incognito signs with any team, the NFL will likely hand down a suspension on the former Pro Bowl guard.

Considering the struggles the Dolphins have been having at guard this season, it might have been beneficial in the context of just playing football for the Dolphins to bring back the scapegoated offensive lineman, but thanks to the scandal, no matter what the case, Incognito's career was brought to an abrupt end and it will most likely never be resumed.

With this whole offseason being focused on changing the overall image of the team, bringing back Incognito, no matter what the reason, would most likely be viewed by the media as spitting in the face of the very mission the Dolphins have been trying to accomplish. Is that ridiculous? Yes. Would it be a guaranteed issue if it did happen? No one knows for sure, but given the events of the past, it seems only logical that something like that would happen in the future.

I personally wish Richie the best, and I hope he gets to Tampa and succeeds. I also hope he manages to stay "incognito" unless it involves his play on the football field. After what he went through last season, it seems doubtful that his career could survive yet another incident.
