With the upcoming game against the Chicago Bears, wide receiver Brian Hartline reminisced on his time as a teammate to Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall, and they even keep in touch from time to time. “Yeah, we stay in touch. My fiancé and his wife stay in touch as well." Hartline said. "We’re excited for them having their first kid. We definitely stay involved. We’re trying to get up to the baby shower coming soon, but that’s not working out. But we’re definitely still friends, we stay in touch." Hartline was with Marshall during his time before his big turnaround, and naturally, he's taken notice of just how much of a change Marshall has made since going to Chicago. "Of course, there is growth. On a serious level, if you’re going to be the same person you were the year before, you’re not really advancing." Hartline said. "I think Brandon has always felt that way about every part of his life, whether it be himself or his relationship, like I do with my relationship or whether it be a business-level or foundation, however you want to put it. It’s the old nautical thing that everyone says, if you’re not progressing, you’re getting worse." Hartline is obviously proud of the steps Marshall has taken in his life, as should all Dolphins fans. Some may be bitter over the circumstances that prompted his being traded, but we can all be happy for Marshall that he's fixed his life.
