Cameron Wake had a big day against the Chciago Bears, picking up a sack and disrupting the pocket throughout the entire game. He’ll look to continue that success against the Jacksonville Jaguars but noted that he and the rest of the defense need to keep their focus and play hard the entire game, especially because rookie quarterback Blake Bortles has been doing a solid job so far this season. “Well, it’s a little bit early to do a complete diagnosis, but (he’s) playing well,” Wake said. “It’s usually difficult to peg a guy as far as whether they stay still or they are moving. From just watching film, making plays and doing the best that he can to get the ball where it needs to go. For the most part, it’s been something I’ve definitely been looking forward to playing on Sunday.” Wake said that one player they’ll need to keep an eye on is running back Denard Robinson, who rushed for 120 yards against the Cleveland Browns defense. “I guess probably to surprise anybody else, what did he (Denard Robinson) run for, 100-and-something? 120 (yards), that’s a good day out for any running back in the league. Obviously, that’s something again that will be at the top of our part of our priority list, to get that stopped and it’s on the back of our front seven, the guys who are up there plugging the gaps. That’s something that obviously that we’ve got to play consistent and we’ve got to play together, make sure that whatever your responsibility is that you do it. He’s obviously shown that he can get in the hole and make you pay.” Perhaps one of the reasons why the Browns lost is because their players admitted that they lost focus during the game. Wake said that he doesn’t care who he’s facing off against – everyone in the NFL can play football and he’s going to treat it that way every time he steps on the field. “Well, personally it doesn’t matter who or what their record is or if they are Super Bowl champs or if they’ve never won a game. This is the NFL and, every week when you step on the field, you’re going to be playing against the best in the world at what they do. Any given week, there are no bums out there. Every time you play, it’s the best of the best and you have to go out there and match that intensity, match that level of play and this week is no different.”
