During today's scrimmage, tight end Charles Clay was blocking on a play when he came up limping and gingerly walked off the field.
He then had a thick wrapped layer of ice around his right knee and a short while later, the wrap was removed while he remained on the sidelines talking to teammates. Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post spoke with Clay afterwards and fortunately, the injury doesn't seem too serious.
“I’m just glad it’s nothing too serious,” Clay said. “I’m going to go back and get ready to play.”
In addition, wide receiver Brian Hartline didn't practice today and was spotted with a thick wrapped layer of ice around his knee as well. Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald said that he's been told that it is nothing to be concerned about.
