Jason Cole of the Bleacher Report is reporting that several people close to Mike Pouncey believe that he may miss the entire season. Pouncey's injury is very similar to Percy Harvin's last year. Both players had surgery around the same time as well. As we all know, Harvin was up in the air as to when he would be able to return but eventually came back towards the end of the season.
However, it's important to keep in mind that they do play different positions and whereas Harvin needed to cut and change his speed at the drop of a dime, Pouncey's movement is less rigorous and doesn't need to run nearly as fast as Harvin did. That, in addition to Pouncey's pain tolerance level, could change some things.
It's an important situation to keep an eye on as we move forward over the next several weeks and possibly months.
