After Dallas Thomas struggled to find a home on the offensive line last year as a rookie, he's finally settling in at right guard next to former teammate, Ja'Wuan James. Thomas had been written off by many fans and even some media despite it only being his first year in the NFL. Now, in his second year, he feels a lot more comfortable.
“You could tell when you watched the tape throughout the course of last year that he was developing and progressing,” Head Coach Joe Philbin said. “Fans didn’t get to see that on Sundays, but we got to watch it when we watched the practice tape, we watched the one-on-one drills. We saw some development. Then he had a very good offseason program. He’s made good progress. Certainly nothing is locked and loaded, but he has performed pretty well.”
