Last year, at this time I was asking for so much: A franchise QB, an intimidating defense, an elite Special Teams unit that could flip the field and score for almost anywhere on the opponent’s half and mostly we wanted hope, hope for the future. Santa Coach, you not only delivered that but so much more. In under 2 years you and GM Grier have built a team that no one wants to play against, a team that plays hard, plays for each other and plays with pride. That is precisely what you have returned to us, pride in our Dolphins, pride in being Dolfans and hope for the future. This is not to say everything has been perfect and I know you know, we know you know. But Coach, I just wanted to say thank you before making my wish list for the upcoming year: Dear Santa (Coach,) -After so much success all I want for the remaining of this season is: to beat the Chiefs, show the world we are for real and get some national respect -Continue to watch our defense dominate games with a lead. -Watch X get more picks and a deserved nod as an All-Pro and DPOY. -Watch Tua continue to learn, get better and develop. -Watch our other rookies on offense continue to grow and watch them take the next step. -That all players on IR are able to return to football whenever they are ready. -For no new players to get injured. -For our retro uniforms to become permanent. -For these Dolphins to shock the world and make the playoffs. -For Jason Sanders, Matt Haack and Blake Ferguson to be recognized as the best specialists in football. -For Eric Rowe, Christian Wilkins, DVP, Emmanuel Ogbah and Jakeem Grant to be recognized with Pro-Bowl Selections. -For you continue to lead this team and fan-base by example (thank you for that by the way!) -For Stephen Ross to be recognized as a very good owner. -For Chris Grier to be recognized as a top GM. -For you to continue to give young coaches a chance and develop fantastic teachers and mentors. -For the Dolphins to play in Mexico City soon (pretty, please?) -For the fan-base to unite behind this team and stop going after each other. I know, I know, I can be too greedy. But honestly Coach thank you for being a great leader and face for our team, thank you for being honest with the media and true to your players, thank you for bringing pride and hope to a Dolphins fan-base that had grown accustomed to let downs. No matter what happens the rest of the ways this season, we thank you, we appreciate you and we look forward to the bright future you, Mr. Grier, Mr. Ross and the players are building every day.

Mr Ross finally got it right with these two guys! They've done an exceptional job and I see a very bright future ahead. Flores for Coach of the Year!
