![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs Later this afternoon, the player representatives from all of the NFL teams will get together on a conference call and will vote on the new drug policy. As of 10:30 AM this morning, all indications point towards the new policy passing. The leaders of the NFLPA have mentioned that they would not bring this to a vote if they weren't confident it would pass. While they did discuss the new policy earlier this week, it was never brought to a vote because the players weren't happy with everything that was in it. According to Ian Rappaport of the NFL Network, this means that the suspensions to Dion Jordan and Reshad Jones will be reversed and they would be eligible to return to the team. While the timeline isn't clear as to when they could return, I've been told that they wouldn't be allowed to come back until after this weekend's games. Regardless, it's a good situation for the team and allows these two key players to return at minimum two weeks earlier than originally expected.
