![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs With Dion Jordan now officially suspended for the next four weeks, he has made plans to stay in the best shape possible while he is away from the team and coaching staff. One way he's doing that is by hiring a defensive line coach to help him get better and stay fundamentally sound. “I’m definitely going to find me a defensive line coach, somebody to make sure I stay up on my technique and also I’ve got to find a way to keep my head in the books so I don’t lose that step which is totally important,” he said. “I’m going to do something everyday to make sure I’m able to keep my head in the game so I don’t lose that aspect,” he said. “That’s a lot of free time.” Jordan is entering his second year after playing in limited action last year. Many expect him to take a big jump when he returns although the preseason results don't necessarily show it. With that said, we all know that preseason and regular season are two completely different things. “I felt like my knowledge of the game itself, understanding offenses and what my role is for our defense, I feel like I excelled,” he said. “I’m much healthier now and I’m able to contribute, raise my game.”
