![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs The Miami Dolphins practiced on Thursday and will hold a light practice today before taking off tomorrow for their game against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. According to head coach Joe Philbin, Thursday’s practice was one of the best ones that the team has had since training camp began, which is good news considering that the Bills are being viewed as a team that’s going to be hard to beat, especially at home. “I just told the team that was one of the better practices that we’ve had since training camp began. I thought it was crisp. We were playing on turf, so we stayed inside today. I thought our guys did a good job. The game plan is in. There are 71 hours or so to kickoff, so there is still a lot of time to still refine things and make sure they understand exactly what they have to do as they go up to Buffalo. It’s going to be a tough environment, and we are going to have to play extremely well.” “We ran on time. There wasn’t a lot of repeats. There were a couple, but guys were just moving around fast. I thought the play-speed was pretty good. I thought we threw the ball well. Defensively, we got a couple of takeaways. I thought it was a good practice.” It’s been said that practice always translates to the game field so the fact that the Dolphins had a great practice leading into the game on Sunday is a good sign and can only help them.
