![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacsDuring today's practice, the Dolphins focused primarily on red zone offense and even though many of the veteran starters got the day off, we still saw some hints of what we can see from this offense. According to The Finsiders blog, the team plans to use a variety of formations regardless of what area they are in on the field. The emphasis today was in the flat areas of the red zone and the corners in the back of the end zone. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill did well and converted several touchdowns while showing good pocket awareness. Touchdown passes were thrown to Marcus Thigpen, Gator Hoskins, Michael Egnew and others. It will be interesting to see how this offense comes together and we will have our first glimpse in live action on August 8 when they play the Atlanta Falcons in their first preseason game.
