![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs The Miami Dolphins have been without several players for the past few weeks and several more were added to that list on Sunday. These players include Knowshon Moreno, Mike Pouncey, Reshad Jones, Randy Starks, Koa Misi and several others. The Dolphins were able to compile a 2-2 record without them and Kevin Coyle was impressed with the way the next man up stepped to the plate. “I think I’m just happy that the players realize that we do have that next man up approach. We’re counting on every man in that room. They’re there for a reason. They’ve earned those chairs to sit in that room and to represent the Miami Dolphins. So when their time is called, we expect them to be ready to play. I think a lot of guys have stepped up during the first four weeks, but we have to play consistently better as a defense to get where we want to go.” One of the biggest pieces of the defense will be back on the field against the Green Bay Packers and that is middle linebacker Koa Misi. Coyle knows that Misi makes the whole team better. “Like I said, I think we’ve helped ourselves tremendously and the fact that our depth is better now, we’ll have some options to look at and packages to consider as we move forward. I’m real excited because, having a healthy Koa Misi makes our team better, there’s no question about it.” The Dolphins will be certainly much improved when they take the field against the Packers on October 12 and it will be nice to see what the team can really do with all of these players back and fully healthy.
