![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs The Dolphins have never been a team to do well against the Buffalo Bills in their stadium. In fact, if you go back, Dan Marino had a 7-10 record in Buffalo, including playoffs. If you go back further, the Bills lead the all-time series record in Buffalo, 26-25. So, it’s not a huge surprise that the Dolphins struggled on Sunday against them for the third straight year under Joe Philbin. Linebacker Philip Wheeler had an interesting take on why the Bills always seem to dominate the Dolphins. "I feel like we are built to beat some of the teams in our division: Take the Patriots," Wheeler said. "I think the Bills are built to beat us. The defense stops our offense. Their offense runs the ball on us. I think we need to get better all the way around." "They have a good scheme against us every year. Their defense stops our offense. Their offense runs the ball on us. I think we need to get better all the way around." The Dolphins have only won one game against the Bills under Joe Philbin and that was his first year in a meaningless December game. Otherwise, the Bills have handled the Dolphins quite well. We’ll see how the team responds next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
