News broke on Thursday evening that Dion Jordan has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2014 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances. Jordan, who was the third overall pick in the 2013 draft after the Dolphins traded up for him, will be eligible to return to the Dolphins’ active roster on Monday, September 29 following the team’s September 28 game against the Oakland Raiders.
With that said, he is still is eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games so he will be able to learn the nuances of the team and develop throughout the summer. However, once week one begins, he is not allowed to step foot in the facility for four weeks.
