Raw Phish - Written by Jeff Hyde
Arguably the strength of the Dolphins for the past few years has been the Dolphins defensive line. Since the emergence of all pro defensive end Cameron Wake in 2009, the Dolphins defensive line has consistently been the deepest unit on the roster and a major factor for opposing offenses. This year is no different.
Even with the lose of fan favorite ‘Big Paul’ Soliai to free agency (Falcons) the Dolphins were able to retool with younger, more durable pieces along the defensive line.
It will be interesting to see how rookies DE Terrence Fede and DT Anthony Johnson fair next week when training camp begins. So far, there is a lot of hype surrounding the two guys, and they should be able to get their share of opportunities to show the coaches that they belong on the final roster.
