![]() A Fresh Perspective - Written by Luis Sung | Twitter: @FLSportDebater Continuing with my series of columns defending the underrated players of the Miami Dolphins squad, we're going to be analyzing the one player that many fans feel has the fate of the entire 2014 season in his hands. We're looking at third-year quarterback out of Texas A&M, Ryan Tannehill. Drafted eighth overall in the 2012 NFL draft, Tannehill was considered by many media pundits to be the third best quarterback in the entire draft class, right behind number one overall pick Andrew Luck out of Stanford and Robert Griffin III out of Baylor who went immediately after Luck. Of course, since he was being compared to two QBs who were considered to be the best QBs to come out of the draft in over a decade, Tannehill - as the third best - was considered by many media pundits to be the consolation prize to whatever teams couldn't wheel and deal their way into drafting Luck or RG3. > Click here to read the rest of the column!
