Forbes magazine recently released the value of various NFL franchises and the Miami Dolphins come in ranked at 16th in total value, worth $1.3 billion dollars. Back in 2009, Stephen Ross bought the team for $1.1 billion, so he has slightly increased the value.
Forbes' values on the other AFC East teams: the New England Patriots were No. 2 at $2.6 billion; the New York Jets were No. 6 at $1.8 billion, and the Buffalo Bills were No. 31 at $935 million.
