Tight End Nick O'Leary, from Florida State University, visited with the Miami Dolphins as part of the pre-draft process. This news comes courtesy of Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post.
According to Justin Capriotti (Twitter: @JCapSports), an analyst for the PhinManiacs Draft Guide, O'Leary won't ever be the fastest or strongest guy on the field but he is a football player and that is something you simply can't teach. Capriotti says that O'Leary understands how the game works and how to work the field. It is rare that O'Leary isn't giving his quarterback a great opportunity to complete a pass to him. His weaknesses include his potential inability to consistently handle the bigger defenders in the NFL as he has trouble dis-engaging from press coverage.
Last season, O'Leary caught 48 passes for 618 yards and 6 touchdowns during the 2014 season. He averaged 12.9 yards per reception. The idea draft round, according to Capriotti, is the third for O'Leary. He is projected to go in the middle rounds, according to many of the major draft analysts.
