Before the Dolphins’ first pre-season game, I pointed out three different players for you to focus on, as these guys had been flashing in the training camp practices leading up to that first game. Before the second pre-season game, I marked the four main observations from training camp for both the offense and defense as training camp practices concluded.
This week, in anticipation of the Dolphins’ third, and most telling, pre-season game, I’m going to make it very simple for you. With this pre-season game being the biggest indicator of how the team will look for at least the first quarter of the regular season (as returning suspended players and future injuries are likely to change the make-up of this team), there is one person, and one person only, that all fans should be focusing on. This player was brought into the organization to provide something this team didn’t have and desperately needed last year. And up to this point, we’ve yet to see him live game-action. This player would be Knowshon Moreno, and there are strong indications he’ll be suiting up for the first time as a Miami Dolphin this Saturday night against the Dallas Cowboys.
