Wide Receiver Brian Hartline has a chance to make Miami Dolphins history this season and become the first Dolphins receiver to have three consecutive 1,000 yard receiving seasons, but that's not his top priority.
“At this point that’s so far-fetched,” Hartline said. “It’s just so out in the distance I’m not really concerned about that. I’m making some errors on day in, day out. Today was my cleanest day, but overall I’m just worried about being error-free and catching every football.”
Hartline has been Ryan Tannehill's most trusted target over the course of the young QB's three-year career, so the fact that his mentality is to continue to improve and help the team however he can is a comforting one, but he does have one more goal in mind that's more important than anything else to him right now. Brian Hartline doesn't care about his numbers except for one: how many times has he made it to the playoffs, and he's determined to make that number stop being a zero.
“But I think in the end I also know the numbers -- I haven’t been to the playoffs. So that’s the one thing I want to change.”
