![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs Rookie wide receiver Jarvis Landry has been the Miami Dolphins' punt returner since week one of the 2014 season but he has had his fair share of struggles. He has muffed the ball several times and has also made several mental errors such as catching the ball at the five-yard line and being tackled immediately after. That's why when the Dolphins brought back Damian Williams this week, speculation arose over what the Dolphins might do with the punt returner position. Joe Philbin didn't go into much detail but did offer some hints. “We evaluate every player every play of every game. We got through an exhaustive process of every position player. We talk about it the day after the game in length about each player’s performance at their position, and we’ll continue to do that. If there’s a point in time where we feel again that a change needs to be made, we’ll make it. Every game, there’s a thorough evaluation of every player and he’s certainly gets evaluated. Our depth chart is what it is until we change it.” Philbin is known for keeping his cards close to his vest so it wouldn't surprise me if we see Williams trotting out there to return punts on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
