![]() Written by Matthew Cannata Jarvis Landry recently went on Rookie Confessional on NFL Fan Pass. He is looking forward to the season and can't wait to put the pads on and get going. His goal is to show he is competitive while showing off his great work ethic. One quote that stood out was the he wanted to be seen and not heard, which is a good goal for a rookie and maybe somewhat surprising considering the stereotype of wide receivers being divas. However, head coach Joe Philbin has made it a priority in the past few years to get high character players who show up to work and do what they are supposed to do. He loves Miami, especially the people. His goal for his rookie season is to help the team wherever possible and is willing to play wherever the team needs him to. He doesn't have any specific game circled on his calendar as he's ready to take on the entire league once the season begins. Landry was a second-round pick in the 2014 draft and comes with tremendous hands. Many scouts and general managers worried about his 40-yard dash time but his game speed is much different. If he finds a spot on the field, he should be able to do some great things this season and be a valuable security blanket for quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
