Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have been known to pick on the weakest links on any given team. For the Miami Dolphins, it’s been no exception as the target of Brady’s abuse has always been Jimmy Wilson. Last season, Will Davis joined that group as well.
Wilson has allowed 16 of 26 passes to be caught for 149 yards in the last four meetings against the patriots. Davis allowed 7 completions for 90 yards last December. Now, both are ready to prove that they have improved and are no longer a liability on the field.
“I’ve always wanted to be a starter, waited my whole for this,” Wilson told the Miami Herald.
According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are privately optimistic that Davis has greatly improved from 2013 and is now even better than Jamar Taylor. We’ll find out soon enough whether or not his improvement is enough to be a formidable presence on the field.
