As we all know by now, the Miami Dolphins lost a heartbreaker to the Green Bay Packers and earlier this week, Joe Philbin reflected on how tough of a loss it was but also, how tough of a team the Packers are and the challenges of defeating them. “Well, they don’t turn the ball over. They’re a very good football team. They’re very well coached. They’re a good football team. There’s just no other way to put it. They’re sound in everything they do. At the end of the game, you have to give them credit, they executed well. Our guys played. Let’s face it, we knocked the ball off of their quarterback in the last drive of the game and sacked him. The ball was on the ground. It’s unfortunate we didn’t come up with it. They did and they made one more play than we did.” Philbin also praised his former boss and current Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy, saying that he has really worked to be good at what he does and has proven to be successful. “Yeah, sure. It’s not easy. I obviously have a great regard for Mike (McCarthy) and everything they have accomplished up there. He’s as fine of a person as there is in the profession. He’s done a great job. There are a lot of great coaches in the National Football League. We are all competing to do the same thing. It’s certainly a full-time job, I’ll say that. That’s for sure." Comments are closed.
