![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs You may read that headline and think that I’m captain obvious because of the fact that Moreno really only played the first week of the season before being injured early in the second game against the Buffalo Bills. However, Moreno was still with the team and on the sidelines during games and practices. With that said though, Moreno isn’t worried about what happened and how he got injured. Although he said it’s disappointing to be injured, he’s now looking forward to getting back on the field and making an impact. “It’s disappointing because you just want to be out there helping your team out, but it’s part of the game. Those things happen. I just have to fight back and do whatever you have to do in the training room to get back on the field, and once you are on the field just do what you have to do. I’m just going to go out and practice and get back to the practice mentality and then that game mentality when it comes. Once that comes, everything will take care of itself.” Moreno ran for over 100 yards against the New England Patriots in week one but don’t expect him to sit here and reflect on that game with the Green Bay Packers coming to town and with him trying to do everything he can to play on Sunday. “To tell you the truth, I don’t remember that game. That was so many weeks ago. I think we are just gelling as a team. At the end of the day, we came out with a team win, but I really can’t remember that far. I guess it was just working that day.” Lamar Miller has been great in his absence but if the Dolphins are able to add Moreno to the rotation on Sunday, they’ll be able to run the ball and control the clock in an effort to keep the Packers offense off the field as long as possible.
