![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs In a surprising move, the Miami Dolphins announced this morning that Knowshon Moreno has been placed on injured reserve with a torn ACL. In Monday's press conference, Joe Philbin didn't elaborate on any injuries but when asked directly about Moreno, Philbin said that it was the players they decided to play late in the game and Moreno wasn't taken out on purpose. Moreno played in three games for the Dolphins and picked up 148 yards on 31 attempts. He had one touchdown on the season. Moreno made a huge impact in week one against the Patriots, leading a rushing attack that the Patrios defense couldn't stop. In week two against the Buffalo Bills, he was injured and was out until Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, where he only rushed for 10 yards on 6 carries. Unfortunately, this is probably it for Moreno in a Dolphins uniform as he was only signed to a one-year contract and will now face close to a year of rehab. Comments are closed.
