![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs According to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, Knowshon Moreno is still four weeks away from returning from his injury he suffered against the Buffalo Bills. This would put him on track to return around November 9 for the game against the Detroit Lions. It was thought that Moreno might be back for the game against the Green Bay Packers but as we now know, it will be quite a while before he returns to the team. Fortunately, for the team, they are doing quite well in the run game and Joe Philbin doesn't think that Moreno's absence greatly affects their production. “Not necessarily. When you watch the film, we’ve had some opportunities in the running game. I think both schemes have been good. I think Lamar (Miller) has done some good things. He’s had an opportunity to get into the second level. We’ve gotten him on the perimeter on occasion, and he’s taken advantage of those runs. We’ve had, for early in the season, a fair number of explosive runs. Those things, they all add up.” Of course, Moreno brings a different type of intensity to the game but other players such as Mike Wallace have been stepping up in his place. We'll see if the Dolphins can continue their high level of play they displayed against the Oakland Raiders when they play the Green Bay Packers on October 12. Comments are closed.
