This morning, the Miami Dolphins announced that Knowshon Moreno was taken off the Physically Unable to Perform list and moved to the active roster. Moreno had been recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery that he had in June. Many thought he would be ready for the start of training camp but it took a little longer to recover than the Dolphins had hoped.
After practice, head coach Joe Philbin said that Moreno would not play in Friday's preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons. Moreno likely will be the third down back when the season begins and isn't in much position to beat out Lamar Miller for the starting running back position.
