Recently, Lamar Miller joined the Finsiders radio show to talk about the 2014 season. Miller stated that he has learned a lot in his two years in the NFL and this offseason has really helped him get better now that he understands what it’s all about.
Miller thinks he has to get better in his overall game but more specially, he wants to become more physical and get better in pass protection.
In regards to his reaction when the Dolphins signed Knowshon Moreno, he said he thought it was a good thing as this is someone he can learn from and use him to help take his game to the next level. Miller expects that he and Moreno will make a great duo and he says that while he doesn’t know what the coaching staff plans to do, he has full trust in them.
When asked about the new offense under Bill Lazor, Miller said that it’s great and will keep defenses on their toes. He said that Lazor came in and changed everything so what you see on the field will be a complete overhaul of the offensive system from last year.
Miller struggled in 2013 but some attribute that to the poor play of the offensive line. Many are saying that he is well suited for Bill Lazor’s offense and expect him to breakout in 2014. Time will tell but the early signs are promising.
