![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs This is probably a headline you should see in high school or youth football - not the NFL. However, with the Miami Dolphins linebacker corps, it's a reality and it's something that needs to get fixed as soon as possible. "The coaches are on us about getting after it this week. Getting your head up. Keeping your head up, running your feet, doing all the small things," said Jason Trusnik, who took a few snaps with the Dolphins starters during the 11-on-11 periods of practice that followed. "We've all been tackling since we were young kids so it is about fine tuning." During practice on Monday, the linebackers went up one-on-one against the running backs and tight ends in a variation of the Oklahoma Drill and they were embarrassed. "Certainly we have to tackle better. So, obviously we've made a commitment regardless, but this week is still a very, very important fundamental training camp week," said defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle. "We spent time on tackling yesterday and did some very good drill work today and hopefully as we progress through the training camp and preseason games it will improve dramatically." The linebackers have notoriously struggled in Miami the past several seasons and it seems that a shakeup could be coming to the starting lineup if things don't get fixed.
