![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs Marcus Thigpen is on the roster bubble and the injury he suffered against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers isn’t helping matters. He is currently battling Jarvis Landry, Damien Williams and a few others for the return position job. Fortunately for Thigpen, his injury isn't that serious. “It’s not that bad, I’m just working through it right now,” he said. Thigpen believes in his ability and is confident he returned the ball well in the first preseason game. However, he isn’t so confident about being moved to the wide receiver position and doesn’t fully have a grasp of everything that goes on at the position. “Not really, not yet,” he said. “It’s a work in progress. I’ve got the playbook down. I feel way more comfortable in camp, way faster. I’ve just got to make plays in the game — translate from the practice field to the game. With this injury right now, its a minor setback. I’ll be ready. I’m studying hard, I’m still taking a lot of mental reps. When I come back hopefully I don’t miss a beat.”
