Maryland wide receiver Stefon Diggs visited with the MIami Dolphins as part of the pre-draft process. This news comes courtesy of the Sun-Sentinel.
According to Jeff Hyde (Twitter: @Jeff__Hyde), analyst for the PhinManiacs Draft Guide, Diggs can make all of the catches and does a great job tracking the ball. He isn’t afraid to go into traffic and come out with the ball, and can do so using his big, strong hands. His weaknesses include him being a lazy run blocker, inconsistent effort on the field when plays aren't directed his way and at times, minimal effort to get involved. Hyde does believe though that Diggs has all the tools to succeed at the next level - it's just a matter of whether or not he can change his mindset once he gets into the NFL.
Over the course of his career at Maryland, Diggs finished with 150 receptions for 2,227 yards and 14 touchdowns in three years. The ideal draft round, according to Hyde, is the late fourth or early fifth. He is projected to be selected in the middle rounds by many of the major draft analysts.
