Message from the new owner of PhinManiacs: Luis D. Sung

First of all, I would like to take a moment and thank Matt for giving me ownership of the website. To be considered worthy of this privilege is an honor in itself, and I am proud to be able to take ownership of this site. I would also like to thank him for giving me a chance to become a member of the site to begin with. 

When I first started out, I was looking for an outlet that I could use to express my thoughts and opinions about the team I love on a regular basis, and this website was my first true chance at being able to do just that. What I never saw coming, however, was just how deep I would wind up diving into this thing.

Through this journey, I became more than just a writer. I have been able to go and do things that I never even dreamed I'd be able to do. I've had the chance to interview players and coaches, I've built up relationships with high-ranking officials within the organization, I've been granted access to the Dolphins community events and have gotten to consistently see my Miami Dolphins in action off the field.

Again, I'm grateful to Matt for giving me a chance a year ago. Now that I am taking full ownership of the site, I am determined to make sure the legacy of PhinManiacs continues to climb skywards as we continue to let the Dolphins fan community know that we are the best source of Dolphins news on the internet. Thank you Matt, I won't let you down.

I realize that you - my fellow Dolphins fans - now have high expectations that have been set by the work that the site has previously put out over the past year. Well rest easy, I am determined to ensure that the quality of the work that is put out does not drop, and I will be doing my absolute best to continue giving you all the latest news and reports on all things Dolphins.

Needless to say, this season is going to be an exciting one. With the signing of superstar defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and a revamped WR corps which will eventually feature first-round pick DeVante Parker to go along with the ever-improving Ryan Tannehill, things are looking up in Dolphins land!

With training camp just around the corner, things will be picking up dramatically around here and in the world of football, and I will be there to report on what stood out to me most, soon followed by quotes from the coaching staff. It's almost here Dolphins fans, football is descending upon us. Get excited! Phins Up!
