By: Hussam Patel News came out this morning that the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers are the two coaching staffs that will train the Senior Bowl Prospects and coach in the Senior Bowl game on January 30th. This is HUGE news. Coaching in the Senior Bowl is very underrated as the coaching staff and organization gets a first-hand look of the prospects personally, how they adapt to challenging schemes, adversity and how they do cohesively with different players. Getting this under Brian Flore’s belt is such a competitive advantage as they are able to look at what players can fit their schemes like a glove. There is worth noting that the Dolphins do not have a full coaching staff yet, since there is no Offensive coordinator. I wonder if we will already have an OC on the staff internally (George Godsey) and get a sense of what the scheme will be or maybe they will look to hire an OC soon. Now this is not for high 1st and 2nd round draft prospects who have cemented themselves. This is for draft-eligible prospects who are projected to go after the 3rd round to undrafted to boost their stock. Teams watch this game and take note of each prospect as they look to build upon depth through the draft and find a hidden gem that can take their team onto another level. Below is a list of some of the Prospects I and Dolphins fans should keep an eye on-Per the Senior Bowls confirmed list of Invites: QBs
RBs
OL
WRs
TEs
DL
EDGE/DE
LBs
CBs
Safeties
Specialists
This is just a few prospects the coaching staff will work with and there are even more to scout for outside of the Senior Bowl. The Dolphins Coaching staff will have their hands full and expect them to draft some of these prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft. Stay Tuned at PhinManiacs for more Senior Bowl Coverage
