The NFL supplemental draft was held today and four players were eligible for selection. However, as is usually the case and for the second year in a row, no one was selected.
The Miami Dolphins were rumored to have some interest in running back Traylon Shead out of SMU. He is 6'2 and weighs 215 pounds and the Dolphins were one of nine teams who attended his workout earlier this week. Last year, he played in four games and gained a total of 197 yards.
These players could still be signed but it appears the Dolphins were simply doing their homework and leaving no stone un-turned.
