Another season and another year of getting crapped on by the media. That's the story with the Miami Dolphins and 2014 looks to be no different. Pro Football Talk released their pre-season rankings and they have the Dolphins 31st in the league. While I'm not saying that the Dolphins are going to be one of the best teams in the league this year (we don't know if they are or not - too early to tell), I can say with 100% confidence that they aren't the second worst team in the entire NFL.
This was a team that started off 3-0 last year and beat quarterbacks such as Andrew Luck, Phillip Rivers, Andy Dalton, Tom Brady, Matt Ryan and more. Sure, they had their collapse at the end of the season but to be considered the second worst team after revamping their entire offensive line and bringing in a new offensive coordinator is absolutely ridiculous. I'm not sure whether or not Pro Football Talk has heard of teams such as the Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams, Houston Texans, Tennessee Titans and oh so many more!
The Dolphins will have to prove themselves once again this season but also secure a spot in the playoffs before media and also fans start taking them seriously. We can all agree they have a lot to prove but I also think we can all agree they are far being the second worst team in the NFL.
