![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs Teams around the NFL are allowed to start signing players today to their practice squad beginning at 12:01 PM EST. The Miami Dolphins wasted no time in getting that start as they have signed quarterback Seth Lobato, according to Andrew Abramson and Omar Kelly of the Palm Beach Post and Sun-Sentinel, respectively. Lobato was the third string quarterback throughout the preseason and the Dolphins like what they see in him in terms of development. Although he was shaky at times during preseason action, he did start to show signs of improvement in the game against the St. Louis Rams. The Dolphins would ideally like to see Lobato develop enough to take over the number two position next year when Matt Moore's contract is up but right now, it's anyone's guess as to whether or not Lobato will continue to improve or not.
