![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs After such a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers, the Miami Dolphins need to do everything they can to move on and focus on their next opponent – the Chicago Bears. On Tuesday, they got off to a great start by having what Joe Philbin called the best Tuesday practice that he’s seen this year. “I know I say it all of the time, but I really believe that after watching the tape, I thought it was our best Tuesday practice of the year. I know we had a tough hard-fought game the other day, but I thought our guys came out and really prepared extremely well. We’ve got a long way to go before the game and a lot more of the game plan to put in, but I thought we got off to a good start.” “Like I said, I’m not trying to fabricate, I really thought we had an excellent practice today and I told the team that. You can ask them what I said. I didn’t speak to the team long after practice, I said you know what, and again I usually have observations, I could be wrong, I said I’m going to watch the tape, but my eyes tell me that was the best Tuesday practice we’ve had. We need to have a great week of preparation. We need to get on a plane and go win a game Sunday, period. That’s all I said to the team. That’s what I saw with my eyes. I thought it was good. I did.” The team had several players off to the side nursing injuries, including Branden Albert, Jimmy Wilson, Lamar Miller and others. Albert said that he wasn’t sure if he would be able to play in Sunday’s game due to an elbow injury but said he has all the confidence in the world in Ja’Wuan James to move over to left tackle if needed. The other players on the side today are expected to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears. Let’s hope the team continues to have strong practices throughout the remainder of the week because they will need to truly give it their maximum effort to get this season back on track with a win.
