For the victorious Miami Dolphins, it would be a tour of accolades sure to make even the most narcissistic among us blush. There can be little question what was witnessed on the field though - the Miami Dolphins beat the New England Patriots. Let that sink in… The Dolphins could have garnered headlines by merely winning. Outside of those that closely follow the team, both among fans and media alike, the Dolphins are riddled with questions at a variety of positions, have suspect coaching, and a bad environment inside the clubhouse. None of that was demonstrated in this game though. What happened instead is the Dolphins sent a shot across the bow of the AFC elite and they did it by toughly dominating the perennial Super Bowl contending Patriots in a way that is rarely seen in the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady era. > Click here to read the rest of the column!
