Posted at 9:15 AM EST The Miami Dolphins defensive line has piled up 17 sacks while their offensive line have allowed 14 sacks. On the other side, the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line has accumulated 22 sacks while giving up 29. On Sunday, it will be a battle of the trenches as each team will look to dominate up front. Ryan Tannehill will certainly have his hands full on Sunday and realizes that he’s going to have to play quickly and get the ball out as fast as possible. "They’re good. They’re good up front. They’re relentless on their pass rush. They pressure from all areas. It’s not one guy that you say, ‘All right, we shut this guy down, they’re going to have trouble getting to us.’ It’s all guys on the front. They keep coming and fight through it. If you hold the ball back there, if you don’t get the ball out, their interior guys can get you. They have speed guys off the edge that are able to get you. So it’s going to be a challenge for us. We have to do a good job of blocking them up front and myself getting the ball out.” Daryn Colledge will be one of the guys going up against the ferocious pass rush of the Jaguars but he is ready for the challenge and is ready to keep his guy behind the line of scrimmage as much as possible. “I think they do a great job. I think they especially do a great job up the middle,” Colledge said. “They run a lot of games, they do a lot of different stuff. But I think they do a great job one-on-one rushing the guy. So they push the pocket, which you know takes away a lot of the depth of the quarterback and allows those outside rushers to get up field. So they’ve got, they’ve really got guys across the board. So we need to find a way to shut it down and cover some of those guys up because if we think that we can do that, we’ve got a chance to throw the ball a little bit.” We’ll see which side wins on Sunday and while the Jaguars will most likely pick up a sack or two, my money is on the Dolphins offensive line bearing down and doing the job that they are expected to do.
