![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs With the Miami Dolphins and the Green Bay Packers set to kick off less than 24 hours from now, one of the biggest questions that remain is whether or not Mike Pouncey will enter the starting lineup at either center or right guard. Publicly, head coach Joe Philbin is saying all of the right things. “We haven’t made any decisions. Just like I’ve said before, when and if there is any alteration to the depth chart, we’ll let you know. It goes back to what I’ve said all along. We are going to take to the game the 46 guys who we feel like give us the best chance. Then we are going to take a look at the playtime from there and decide how it all fits together. I think it’s really kind of consistent what we’ve done.” With that said though, I’ve been told (and The Miami Herald reported the same) that Mike Pouncey will in fact start at right guard and the offensive line will be Branden Albert, Daryn Colledge, Samson Satele, Pouncey and Ja’Wuan James. In fact, Pouncey has taken the majority of snaps this week at the right guard position. The Dolphins believe that this gives them the best five linemen on the field at this point in the season and believe that this lineup will dramatically help their run game. We’ll know for sure when the Dolphins release their starting lineups tomorrow but at this point, all signs are pointing towards Pouncey suiting up at right guard. Comments are closed.
