Mike Wallace understands that the fans and media want to see a lot of deep passes between him and Ryan Tannehill. He also understands the criticism that comes their way when they can’t connect on the deep ball. However, Wallace wants everyone to know that they are working hard to fix it.
"It's part of the territory, you know?" Wallace said. "They deserve to ask that when we're not hitting on them. I don't have a problem with it. We just got to keep working on it, keep doing it every single day. I guarantee we want to hit on it more than they want us too," Wallace said. "We definitely want to get into a game and hit a couple."
One of the reasons why Wallace was signed was because of his ability to change the game with one play. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been much of that in the year since he’s been in Miami but under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, many are hoping that something clicks and he becomes a dynamic part of the offense.
