![]() Written by Matthew Cannata Coming into training camp, there were many questions of what the new offense would look like under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. After two days of practice, the answer is starting to become a little bit clearer. On the first play in an 11-on-11 drill yesterday, Ryan Tannehill kept the ball on a read option play. Then, they followed it up with a reverse to Brian Hartline. After that, they threw in a traditional run play up the middle for a nice gain. We have also seen a few deep pass attempts from Tannehill to Wallace. Head coach Joe Philbin says that it obviously isn't perfect yet, but they are improving. "But my gut tells me it was a good practice, it was good energy," he said. "[Friday] I think we were seven minutes behind. That happens when the center-quarterback exchange is going all over the place. I do think [Saturday] was a better practice." Expect to see more of the offense come into focus but it appears that the Dolphins will finally use Tannehill's athleticism to make plays happen - whether it's a keeper, him rolling out and more. It should be one of the more exciting offenses to watch in the NFL come September.
