![]() Written by Matthew Cannata | Twitter: @PhinManiacs Much was made about the fact that the NFL player representatives would be voting on the new drug policy that was proposed to them by the NFL and owners. Last evening, the reps discussed the various pros and cons in a conference call and at the end of the night, decided against voting on the issue. According to various reports, the new policy would allow testing for HGH but would also have higher thresholds for positive marijuana tests. This is important for the Dolphins because both Reshad Jones and Dion Jordan failed tests for performance-enhancing drugs this offseason. With the new policy though, the players could have their suspension reversed as early as week three. John Denney, who is the Dolphins player rep, said he hasn’t thought much about the fate of Jones and Jordan when considering which way he would vote. “That hasn’t even crossed my mind, in that perspective,” Denney told Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald. “You’ve got to do what’s best for the players as a whole — past, present and future. You’ve got to take it all under consideration.”
