![]() Written by Matthew Cannata When the NFL season kicks off in September, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski expects to be on the field playing against the Miami Dolphins. This news came during ESPN’s broadcast of NFL Live where all signs and injury updates point to Gronk making his return. Of course, this is what everyone was saying last year in training camp as well so the news should be taken with caution. If the Patriots have Gronkowski on the field, it will add another problem for the Dolphins defense in addition to trying to contain quarterback Tom Brady and also the solid stable of running backs that they can attack with. The Dolphins will certainly have their hands full come the first week of the season but it’s important not to get too caught up in the news regarding Gronkowski at this time. He has struggled to stay healthy in the past and he may suffer another setback during training camp.
