Second round draft pick Jarvis Landry hasn't taken a snap in a meaningful NFL game yet but he's already turning heads in Miami and around the NFL due to his strong offseason workouts. As training camp progresses, Landry should continue to make headlines and could make a push for a starting spot in the lineup come week one.
Landry's hard work hasn't gone unnoticed and owner Stephen Ross mentioned Landry today in his press conference.
"I think Jarvis Landry is somebody I think everybody is really excited about, speaking to the coaches. I think he’s really going to be somebody that’s going to surprise a lot of people and really bring some excitement to this team,” Ross said.
Ross was obviously told by the coaches to keep an eye on Landry throughout the preseason so it's something definitely worth mentioning, especially with the amount of depth at the wide receiver position.
