Training camp has officially come to an end for the 2014 Miami Dolphins. During these last three weeks, the team did its best to answer a lot of the questions that fans had coming into the season, but the level of play by some of the younger players and lack of productivity by returning starters has created even more questions.
Training camp this year was a necessary tool to get both veteran guys and new guys on the same page. It’s also a tool for coaches to evaluate their roster to see who fits their systems best regardless of veteran experience. It’s rare, but sometimes the younger guys pick up on the lessons learned at training camp faster than veterans. When this happens, the coaches are forced to take another look at their roster and shuffle some spots.
