Phins in Formation - Mike Trevithick | Twitter: @denverfinfan
After a game like we saw last night, it’s tempting to over-react to a single play. The strip-sack of Ryan Tannehill early in the second quarter brought back horrible nightmares of the negative game-changing plays that Miami’s offensive line routinely gave up last season.
But a closer look at the film shows that the problems rest on a few shoulders and should not blemish a solid performance by both starting units. In this edition of my column, I take a close look at the starters after watching, re-watching, and again watching every single snap, often with multiple rewinds. This column writing stuff is not a pursuit for the faint-hearted!
